Fucking yikes. Look I liked it, I’m just confused. I feel like plot points from the other two books were just abandoned out of nowhere (ie. Rip the autumn king’s previous characterization) and the crossover really gave us nothing which is unspeakably disappointing. There was so much exposition that I’m surprised Midgard wasn’t knocked off it’s axis by all the “telling not showing”. That ion and Ithan were legitimately painful pov’s and the fact that nothing was really resolved with either of them is so frustrating after all that fuckary. I’m confused where other books in this series will go,  i guess they’ll be more politically centered but who fucking knows. Please note none of this negativity applies to Lydia, she gets 5 stars purely for all the cunt she served.

Just read all the bonus chapters and tbh some of it was better then the book itself and should 100% have been included as regular chapters. Honestly makes me really mad that they weren’t and instead someone must either pirate the content or buy five fucking copies to see this stuff. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ fuck the poor readers I guess
