An Offer from a Gentleman: Bridgerton by Julia Quinn

3.0

I was a little apprehensive going into this book cause I've heard some other people's complaints about some stuff that happens. And I kinda agree with them. I'm not as angry with Benedict over what happened and how he reacted, I think what got to me about the whole situation is him not being able to let it go after the multiple times Sophie told him no. And I honestly don't see why Sophie would want to marry him after all of that drama and manipulation.
I will say the first 150 pages is a beautiful romance and had such potential. It was a shame that it didn't stay like that the entire time.
