I truly wanted to love this book as much as everybody else, but I just felt it lacking. Every character felt half-baked, the story line dragged, and the romance felt like it was there but just barely grazing the surface. I feel like a sequel would be magnificent because the last 50ish pages were so good. The action was fun, even being able to see it coming for 350 pages (again the story line BRAGGED), and the found family and hint of romance at the end was SO GOOD. However, those last 50 pages were not enough the make me ever think about this book again. The potential was there, it just isn’t the book for me.
