I didn't enjoy this book nearly as much as I thought I might. I assumed I would love it because of how much I enjoyed the dark tower series. I think alot of it is how much I dislike the characters. Richard and wolf were just too annoying I could barely stand reading scenes with them involved,

even wolf dying to save jack didnt really do anything to make me like that character. You have richard and wolf who do nothing but whine and cry the entire book then you got jack whos 12 but talks like hes in college.  What 12 year old calls his other 12 year old friend kiddo all the time? Honestly most the characters are unlikeable.
