Sweet and neurodiverse and relatable and delightful.
Not only do we get a tense and wonderful story of a trans woman figuring out how to come out to the parents she hasn't seen in 10 years, but we also get the heartwarming slow burn of a smart and empathetic woman figuring out what love and sex mean to her. The combination and intersection of the two is just comfortable and fuzzy and warm without being saccharine.
I would absolutely read this again, and more by the author.
