Sycamore Row by John Grisham

I won this book through a Goodreads First Reads giveaway. It took me some time to really get into this book since I haven't read anything by him in awhile, but I ultimately loved it. Seth Hubbard has had a recent run with cancer and isn't going to leave much longer. He hangs himself and leaves a hand written will which leaves most of his money to his black housekeeper and leaves out his immediate family. A battle ensues over the validity of the handwritten will and whether Seth was in his right mind when he made it. Throughout the book we see the struggles of many different characters and towards the end we learn the motives towards Seth's thinking. I would highly recommend this book. The pace is slow at first, but towards the end it is hard to put down!
