Please be serious. Look, I understand that this is under the "romantasy" genre, whatever that is, but I really wanted to give this chance thinking it would meet my below average expectations for these kinds of books, but I'm once again left disappointed. I only liked the very beginning when the MFC was planning on killing "The Witch Collector"
This book, hell, this entire series has a ton of potential but I don't see myself continuing because I don't necessarily care for Weaks' writing style. It's quite juvenile. Nothing impressive. I felt like I was reading a YA novel despite everyone being older than 20. I didn't care for the plot less than halfway in. The romance is incredibly rushed, forced, and unbelievable.
