Soooo much promise and what a great premise. I kept going because I really liked the idea and I also obviously needed to know what was going to happen but it felt like it missed the mark overall.

The best parts of this book were the cool cover, the great idea and the short chapters. If it only had ended 3-4 chapters earlier I think the last 30% could’ve made up for the first 70%.

I read all the way to the last sentence and even with the authors note about the importance of 5⭐️s I couldn’t do it. But she’s witty and it shows in her writing!! If you’re reading the last sentence of this review and you want a quick read, READ THIS. If you’re a critic with high expectations then don’t!!

Or do whatever you want! What do I know anyways??
