I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!❤️ I got it because an old friend gave it to me as a present and I didn't know what to expect at first.
Last summer I started it because I wanted to give it a chance and since the first chapter was amazing. Sadly I had to stop reading it because if school but I just finished it a few hours ago and I really enjoyed it.
This book opened my mind to how hard Chinese people life's were back then (when this book takes place) as well as helping me understand and be more conscious of how lucky I am to be born where I was born. it helped me a lot and I love it.
Also, I have to say the chapters are really long but that's just my opinion. Perhaps if the book had shorter chapters the story will not be this good so I don't really mind.
