A Castle in the Air by Kelley Armstrong

4.0

Apart from the time travel and ghosts, this was more in line with what you would expect from a historical romance. With the caveat that Portia could move around as she wished without having to worry about relatives. I just loved Ben and Jude and their aunt. All the characters were interesting and well-developed. Complete with all the “good” and “bad” highwaymen, the drought, and the crumbling castle with vengeful ghost, the story will have you on edge. This book is another exciting addition to this entertaining series. Each books stands well on its own, though it might be worth reading book 1 first as that explains the time stitch best.
