Grace's Guide: The Art of Pretending to Be a Grown-up by Grace Helbig

5.0

4.5 out of 5 stars.

Confession: I've never seen a single Grace Helbig video. Or a Mamrie Hart video. I'm all about some Hannah Hart though.

I don't know. Grace has never grabbed my attention and I've never felt a need to watch her videos. I know who she is via Tumblr but not once have I actually cared about her.

Until I saw Camp Takota. And then saw that the library had her ebook available for borrowing. And then I fell in looooove.

Grace is hilarious. She has a certain something that immediately draws you in and makes you feel like you've known her for ages and you're talking to your best friend. This is a great how to book that covers everything from mental health to interacting in the real world (socially and at work) to getting over a breakup to decorating.

If you have your life completely going the way you want and wouldn't change a thing for the world because you're perfect, then I would probably skip this book. If you're one of those people who had plans that have gone awry, made life detours, or are young (whether you're actually young or immature or just forever young) then it wouldn't hurt to check it out. It's a quick and funny read and you might learn a thing or two.
