Despite the criticism of this book, I loved it when Twilight first came out. I still enjoyed it even seeing the flaws. Life and Death was interesting, although I had a hard time envisioning the characters different from the original. There were differences and I liked the ending.

I would recommend reading Twilight and then Life and Death - it had been a while since I last read book 1 and so found myself going "was this in the original??" and then I found reading Twilight a little boring...
