I loved this book as a kid and rereading it now as an adult, I still love it. I think YA books today are trying to cater too much to young adults (as in people in their early twenties like myself) when they should be geared towards teenagers. This book has the heart of what I’ve found YA books to be missing lately. It’s fun, it has a good plot, and it really focuses on what it means to be a young girl. The characters are great and Cammie is a fantastic protagonist. I don’t really have any negatives for this book. Just fun and nostalgic.
