The King of Crows by Libba Bray
4.0

Sarah Beth Olson, to me, had an obvious role. I loved how they split up and we got to experience the racism in America in the 20th century when Bill, Henry, and Memphis were trapped in the flood camp. I wish there were more adventures with the circus that Evie, Sam, and Theta went to, and I loved the all-girl Jazz revue idea. The ending was very original, in what happened to the Eye. I’m thankful I finished this series. There was a bit of science fiction to me, and I think it echoed what’s still going on in America today.
