i really love when an rh book makes all of the men equally loveable. it’s just so nice not having to decide who your personal favorite is :)
this book was good. it was definitely 100-200 pages too long given the plot and lack of world building. i definitely needed more info on emerald, poe, who the anguis really are (beyond their weird rituals that seem pulled straight from the lords books (NOT that this is unique at all, it’s just my only point of reference)) and idk, just more backstory in general? i feel like something is missing, and instead of constant sex, we could’ve used a couple of plot development scenes that made the twist at the end more satisfying.
the smut was insane. truly. good shit. but some of those kinks?? idk man, the ven one (yall know what i mean, please don’t make me say it) really took me out, and not in a good way!! i am all for that if that’s your vibe but it isn’t mine, and that was a difficult read. howeverrrrrthorne and ky? fuck me UP. loved them. can’t wait to read the novella with thorne and ven omg
