This book was definitely way better then the first. It still wasn’t good but I enjoyed it more than the first one. I think the strongest part of this book was the romance and all of the build up to that. That was the main redeeming quality. Also since that was basically the main storyline it made it a very fun read. The points where it is the weakest is basically any of the writing on the more fantasy elements and the main plot. I really did not like how the ending climax was written. It was very clunky. I really just think the only way to enjoy reading this series is if you keep in mind that it is more of a romance book than a fantasy book.

The only reason this is three stars is because I’m a sucker for cringy romance
