The family dynamic for a FMC is a tough one, but sadly one many girl can relate to. I appreciate the fact that not all the family had the same perspective and that her younger brother stood up for her eventually. Also it was fun to read a transition from fighting to win the girl to working together. So many why choose have instant cohesion and it was fun to see it take some working out.
