Sunrise on the Reaping
by Suzanne Collins
I just finished this book. I am an emotional wreck.
I spent the last 5 days re-reading the previous book to prepare for today. I think that is why I am so emotional. These books, this world, it just so amazing and I am hooked.
Sunrise on the Reaping is the story about the 50th Hunger Games. This game had 2 girls and 2 boys from each district play. 48 total children. This is the games that Haymitch won...but does anyone ever win The Hunger Games? We get to see a few familiar faces from The Hunger Games trilogy: Beetee, Wiress, Mags, and Effie Trinket.
I absolutely loved this book. It was a book that I needed even though I am still so emotional after reading it. I just love this world and the district citizens that are just trying to survive.
Suzanne Collins ... you did it again. I cannot wait to see if you write another story set in this world. Thank you!
