this is such an important and well-researched story, shedding light on some part of Malaysian history I'd simply never been taught about at school. I wish it were 50 pages longer because the ending feels a bit rushed, and I think the discussion on OCD and anxiety, trauma and grief, could've benefited from it (3.96)
