Dandelion Fire by N.D. Wilson

3.0

I adored 100 Cupboards and devoured it in a day. I had high expectations for this sequel, and I don't think it lived up to them. In the end, something just felt lacking. I felt like I'd eaten a dinner of watery soup instead of meaty stew. It just ultimately wasn't as satisfying. I have too many questions. Perhaps I missed something. If that is the case, please feel free to comment with answers to my questions (see below).

Questions (possible spoilers)
I accept the fact that Nimiane wants to take over the world just for the sake of taking over the world because I can't find a deeper purpose to Sauron, either, and that's a standard for most fantasy, right? But I still wonder:
Why was Mordecai imprisoned by the faeren?
How did Henry manage to escape the imprisonment his father suffered? What's the big deal about Henry anyway that has Nimiane singling him out?
It also seems like his naming wasn't that big of a deal; couldn't he could have retrieved the arrow from the attic without it?
Why does Henry immediately trust Monmouth, despite the fact we find out Monmouth was sent to retrieve Henry for Nimiane
What IS a Green Man and his significance/role?
ow can Henry be the 7th son of a pauper, yet come from a family that (seemingly) has power?
And did Uncle Frank decide to remain in Hilfing?
How did the house get back to Kansas (DID the house get back to Kansas? If not, where are they living?)
