4.5
This book has an earned slowness to it. The story is windy and painful but holds so much beauty and longing. Daverley writes with beautiful imagery that fully immerses you within the characters and the world. Can't recommend it enough, but take your time with it--don't rush through. There are so many emotions to hold onto throughout this story!
