The Courtship of Princess Leia by Dave Wolverton

1.0

This is not only the worst Star Wars book I have ever read, but one of the worst of any type of fiction I have ever read. Sexism abounds and characters do not ring true to their portrayal in the movies. Leia's name is in the title and yet she is reduced to such a marginal role within the story as to be an afterthought. I slogged through just to see how it ended but I am super sorry I paid money for this. I avoided the EU books other than the Thrawn Trilogy out of fears that the books would be like this one. Thank goodness Lucasfilm has great writers like Claudia Gray, Chuck Wendig, and EK Forester creating the stories now. Far, far better.
