Messy by Heather Cocks, Jessica Morgan

4.0

This is a very enjoyable follow-up to [b:Spoiled|9415966|Spoiled|Heather Cocks|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1327879074s/9415966.jpg|14300285] although I didn't find it to be quite as amusing (with the exception being all things Brick, especially his discovery that raisins in trail mix are "the silent killer"). However, I thought the story in this one was stronger and more grounded than the one in the first and the writing by Cocks and Morgan remains snappy and witty. The pop culture references in these books will immediately date them, so I am glad that I was able to snap up both and read them fairly quickly. I hope that there will be many more books in this series; there are so many fun secondary and tertiary characters to explore!
