I am so glad to be re-reading this series. Still loving these books so much. I disagree with my past self, though— I like this one even more than the first one. The magical tournament was fun and created a suspenseful and entertaining backdrop to the rest of the story. Love how much Schwab continues to flesh out relationships and characters in this one while adding in new ones that just add to the story. Also, I don’t remember what happens in the next book, so I am still in suspense for the next book, haha! Happy I still love this series.
