A thrilling conclusion to possibly my favourite fantasy series in a while!
As usual, the characters were amazing and the plot felt well paced in this book. My love for Kraken only increased further in this book as he continued to be an amazing familiar.
This book also broke my heart at certain parts and I’m still not sure I am healed from it.
Some elements of the ending did feel a bit rushed. However I find that ultimately I don’t mind as the overall plot of the series and the generally feeling I get from these books was so good that the issues don’t bother me.
