There Is No Devil by Sophie Lark

2.0

I enjoyed the first book and was excited to dive into the second with a fervor of them going after Shaw. Not only was there a lot of fluff but the fluff didn't even satisfy the smut need. Yes there was a decent amount of spice but it just wasn't that good of spice. The main parts that I enjoyed was the back story of Cole and the Shaw plot. I think the author pushed into a second book with no real plan to execute it so just fluffed it into the end. Also I didn't really find their wrap up of all of the technical stuff around the crimes very believable.
