I love the sworn soldier series, and the adventures of Alex Easton. This book was really fun, though I found it to be more slow paced and took longer to get to the actual punch in the story than What Moves The Dead. As someone who has grown up learning about urban legends and monsters I was thrilled to read about the Moroi. I am looking forward for the third book in the sworn soldier series.
Moderate: Animal death, Body horror, Chronic illness, Death, Gore, Mental illness, Panic attacks/disorders, and War
