Definitely NOT for the faint of heart, but wow this was an emotional rollercoaster. Beautifully broken characters who were told in the most perfect way.
Cora(belle) and Dean are arch rivals, or are they? Since Dean has been with Cora's sister for 15 years, and all they've done is play pranks on each other and bicker, it would only make sense that they would get taken together by a really sick creep. And it all starts because no one else could come to pick her up after her wallet "was stolen"... and then it gets dark.
Then we get to hear about their emotional rollercoasters and all the dark ways they cope. Heart-wrenching, tear-jerking, and wonderfully written. Definitely won't be my last read by this author.
