Origin
by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Ahhhhhhhh!! Daemon...Katy...I can't. They are too perfect for words! I can't get enough of them or their friends and family! I need to the last book in my life like right now!!!!!!!
Origin will have you laughing, crying, swooning, screaming and any other emotion you can think of. Origin is from both Kat and Daemon's POV, and I love this because I love to get inside Daemon's head and it also makes sense seeing as how at the ending of Opal, Daemon and Katy are separated when Katy is captured by Daedalus.
I was most looking forward to Daemon doing whatever the hell he could to get his Kat back. You really got to see how distraught Daemon was that Kat was gone. We already knew how much he loved her, but with his POV, you actually get to feel all his emotions and I love every bit of it.
The scenes where Kat was with Daedalus and they made her do certain things, it broke my heart. It made me so sound that she was suffering and she was alone and she didn't have Daemon there to protect her. Heart-wrenching.
I have to say, I was presently surprised there was so much Daemon and Katy scenes...I was afraid because they were separated, we wouldn't get no scenes from them. Boy was I wrong! We got that and then some. I love their relationship so so much. And it grew even more in this book.
When they were reunited, I squee'd and cried...I was just so happy that they were together and they could face Daedalus TOGETHER!!!!
Daemon's humor and wit are still in the series and I can't get enough of it. At times, I found myself cracking up out loud! The man is just too funny! He will have you rolling on the floor.
Their sexy scenes will have you gasping...they are very powerful and magical. The things Daemon can do...I need my own personal Daemon. *sigh*
In this book you get to meet some new faces, see some old ones, hate some of them.(I hate Nancy BTW). There will be betrayal in this book, from people you wouldn't expect! There will also be death so be prepared :(
All in all, I loved loved loved Origin and I cannot for the fifth and final book in the series...I don't know how I will be able to say goodbye to these characters, I love them so much!
