I fear this is John Green’s worst book. I generally love his writing, so this was a hard one for me. The way he writes characters is particularly intriguing to me, but I don’t think I connected with Colin at all, or anyone else for that matter. I believe that Looking for Alaska followed by The Fault in Our Stars will remain his best work, however, Turtles All the Way Down is an honorable mention.
At certain times I found myself pushing to finish, which I’ve never done with his books.
