This is like the handmaid's tale, but for motherhood. It was heartbreaking while being a disturbing dystopian look into child care and the pressure placed on mothers. I enjoyed this book even though it was heartbreaking. It was well written.
Graphic: Forced institutionalization
Moderate: Child abuse, Emotional abuse, Suicidal thoughts, Suicide, Pregnancy
