A story about two delusional, messy strangers who are brought into each others lives by the one thing they have in common, their dead father. Something else they had in common was their lack of self awareness, but you couldn’t blame or hate them for it. Trauma, grief, addiction, relationships, family dynamics, and more is explored and you can’t help but root for Mickey and Arlo, no matter how many times they fuck up. I was constantly telling them to get it together!!!!! Just two self destructive sisters trying to make it through life. Such a great read and thank you to Morgan Dick for gifting me a copy!
