wow, this story. i was absolutely absorbed in this book for the last 20% or so, i could not put it down. im not sure what it was but i did feel a tiny bit of drag in the middle, although i was still enjoying it, and thats the only reason this isn’t a 5 star read for me. but the stakes are so high and i felt so much for all of our main characters, i know my heart will be ripped out by this series for sure. speaking of, i think the set up for book 2 is great and i’m really excited to keep reading!!! i immediately checked it out from my library so i’ll be reading soon 😼😼 elias and laia, i love you guys <3
