The Perfect Stranger
by Megan Miranda
2.5 stars! The story follow Leah as she had to leave Boston and her job at the newspaper and starts a new life as a teacher in a small town with her old flatmate Emmy. However, someone who looks too much like Leah is found assaulted and injured, and her flatmate Emmy is gone missing. Although I wanted to find out what happened, I think the plot was bit of a mess. The characters were all flat and the detective character appeared to be amateur and clueless. I also felt like there were too many unnecessary characters that created cringy moments and did not serve the storyline at all.
