I realllllly want to love these books. I think the plot and story lines could be great, but this felt like the writer was pressured to crank it out because the others grew in popularity? The repetitive use of words and phrases had me so spun out that I could barely finish.

Jaw - 84 times.
You can only tell me how many times someone’s “jaw ticks” before I think they have a medical issue.
But I did enjoy the differing narration. That was cool.
