This book was an absolute joy to read. It's everything a young adult novel should be: great characters, a fast-moving plot, snappy pacing and dialogue, and actual examinations of things like class, gender, race, and sexuality. I don't know if I've ever read such an enjoyable book that also handled difficult subjects with enormous dexterity. I want 6 novels and a movie.
