I could not put this book down. It was so interesting and so absolutely terrifying. I was nervous to read it at night because everytime I read it I felt transported where the characters were. The descriptions, suspense, the characters. Everything was so well written. Sean's POV, despite being very lacking, was a good touch. I loved knowing what was happening outside of Ruby lost in the catacombs. I also sort of enjoyed the repetative nature of losing hope, or falling back on the fact that you might die and leave someone behind. It really makes you sit and think that's exactly what you'd be thinking.

I think the cult could have been written better? They felt a smidge like any afterthought until the latter half of the book. Otherwise, a really good read!
