The Push by Ashley Audrain

5.0

The other reviewers here have done a good job at detailing the complexity of motherhood found in The Push, the layers of meaning, etc.. Normally, I would chip in with my two cents but I'm so breathless from finishing this book that I can barely form thoughts.

What an absolutely beautiful monster of a book.

And that final sentence? I think I actually gasped out loud. I strongly believe that The Push will be my biggest recommendation of the year.
