I loved On A Sunbeam when I read it last year and I've been meaning to pick up something else by Tillie Walden ever since. I love her illustration style and it worked really well here. The cold and often tense atmosphere of the ice rink felt so palpable and her feelings in different situations came through vividly. It was a really moving and beautiful read and I'm looking forward to reading more of her books.
