lalaguse 's review for:
The Hunt for Red October
by Tom Clancy
Well, the brilliance and technical knowledge loaded throughout this book about naval submarines and the like was lost on me. I remember thinking after the first 100 pages, "So... This book is the longest hunt for a submarine, ever!" I was finally won over by the witty dialogue and characters. The characters were so well-done that I had people in mind for who each reminded me of. I also liked the complexity behind thinking who are the good guys here and no country's philosophy is without its faults.
