Saving Verakko by Victoria Aveline

4.0

4/5 Stars!!!!

I loved the opposite traditional gender roles of this book and how Lily used every opportunity to make sure Verakko knew it. I think the pace was really well done and how it wasn’t just an extended epilogue.

LOVED: V not forcing the bond on her, the date night scene with the homemade checkers board, Ziri being an amazing friend, V taking the time to reassure L that what they had was real, L getting reasonably mad at V for not letting her make her own decisions (even if they sucked), the doctor, L getting overwhelmed at V smiling

DIDNT LIKE: V not letting L make her own decisions (even if they were stupid)

Overall this book was so much fun to read (except the part when L almost dies and V is losing his goddamn mind) and I loved that each book progresses the overall plot of the story.

Omg and don’t get me started on the ending scene with the brothers and the kids and UGH.

Much love to this series.
