This book was so much better than I expected. What could have easily been a stupid, cliche teen relationship book was instead incredibly well written and relatable. The story was set up in an interesting way with a drawing of each item and then the story of how it was a part of their relationship. It was also really interesting to discover that the author also wrote A Series of Unfortunate Events under the pen name Lemony Snicket.
