Again, I feel as though Emily Austin has crawled into my brain, sat in the corner, taken notes on my neuroses, and used them to write a book. Although I don't fear bald men, I understand Enid's anxieties, and rituals. The critiques that find Enid's stream of consciousness too "quirky" are clearly blessed to never have experienced OCD. Thank you Emily Austin for this weird lesbian book. I loved it. I feel seen. - a weird lesbian reader
