i was expecting a silly spicy romcom but instead ended up getting something much more intense and complicated than that. i'm grateful for the surprise though, it was an amazing angsty rollercoaster, i really liked how it subverts some very popular tendencies in romance books (can't say much more without giving too much away), especially towards the ending
