The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang
4.0
4.5*
If I ever hesitate at all for a 5 star rating then I don’t give it, but this came extremely close!
Stella was such a relatable character for me and seeing inside her mind and the way she was written was just so incredible.
The steamy scenes were full of tension and SO sexy without being overtly graphic or long - honestly the perfect amount for a traditional romance imo.
I did tear up at a few sections, in particular the miscommunication that occurred (along with the dreaded 3rd act breakup) I thought was actually done pretty well. The feelings the characters were having and the events that followed made sense, and nobody was arguing or being pissed off for no reason which I find happens a lot in the 3rd act breakup.
Overall I’d highly recommend this one - it’s maybe not one I’d reread (I’m not a huge romance rereader anyway) but it’s so close to being a 5 star that it’s a book I’d recommend to almost anyone.
