Red String Theory by Lauren Kung Jessen

3.0

Solid rom-com, a bit above average. I found the regular fate vs. choice discussions/debates between most of the characters in the book to be pretty good, if a little pedantic at times. One nit, for me at least: not only were both the male and female protagonists essentially perfect human beings (not unexpected in a rom-com), but so were all of the other characters. Indeed, there wasn't a bad or even mildly annoying person anywhere to be found. A little too unbelievable to swallow, even in the constructed fairy tale of a rom-com. Still, I enjoyed the book.
