An Offer From a Gentleman by Julia Quinn

4.0

Everyone I've talked to says that this is the worst Bridgerton book, but I strongly disagree. If you could only read one out of the entire series, read this one. It's reduced to nothing other than a Cinderella retelling, and I think the cover is very misleading as she doesn't leave a shoe behind at all, despite the fact that there's something so special about it. It's also the first book in the series that feels different from the ones that came before. They all felt like the same story and same characters until this book.
