I went in expecting a wintery horror with zombies and a gay romance, and on that it delivered. What I didn't expect was such beautiful, tender and thought provoking writing, and for the horror to come not just from everywhere. This was so consumable, the worldbuilding was rich and interesting, the characters were believable and the atmosphere was intense. Highly recommend.
