This was a typical Patterson in the sense that it was an easy and fast read.  It did feel a little long at points, with unnecessary side plots

the pregnancy, then miscarriage

and the ending got a little stupid.  Lindsay kept making risky moves and they just miraculously paid off and she didn’t die.  Kind of stupid.  Not my favorite.
