This is one of my most fave books. I first read it when I had to do a book report about a Newbery Medal book. It was between that and The Giver by ...hmm I forgot her name. Anyway, so The Giver kind of put me to sleep so I started Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, and I'm so glad I did. And I know I sound like some weird book commercial but I'm serious.More people need to read this book...:)
